Catching Up| Perdido Key Photographer
The last few months have been a bit of a wild ride. In early October, my father was admitted to the hospital. At the end of October we moved him to a nursing home here in Pensacola to get some physical therapy and hopefully head back home within several weeks. Unfortunately, he did not get better as the doctors and we hoped he would. In the middle of December, we placed him on hospice and on December 30th, he passed away. Between grieving and working out details and worrying about my mother who lost her love of more than forty years, I haven't had time to blog sneak peeks. I was still taking pictures, though! I was blessed to be able to spend some time in November and December with some amazing families. My father loved the fact that I was a photographer and I think that he was proud of my work. I hope that I can continue to make him proud in the coming years. I'm going to get caught up on sneak peeks over the next few weeks, but here are a few glimpses of some of the sessions I've had over the last few months:
A brand new baby brother for some of my favorite people in the world

A second beach session for this amazingly photogenic brother and sister

This one just tugs at my heartstrings....this was from a four-generation photo session the day after Thanksgiving

The session was good for my soul...you know how some people just make you feel sooooo comfortable and happy when you're around them...that would be this family...

I can't tell you how much I love this girl...I love watching her grow up through my lens...

a wonderful session at Fort Barrancas with a wonderful family....

these twins were so much fun!

and this one...well, what can I say? I just love these kids, and their mama, and this picture
